After 3 years of Core Osteo it's time to make a few changes. Don't worry, not too much just a few tweaks to ensure the best results for everyone!
I set the existing fee schedule in November 2020 and have maintained it without any changes until now. From January 1st 2024 the fees will be changing to bring them closer to the average price of visiting a local Osteopath.
New Patient appointments will now be charged at £75 for the initial 60 minute consultation and treatment. Return Patient appointments will be increasing to £60 for the 45 minute treatment. Something I am immensely proud of, and I believe something that sets Core Osteo apart from other clinics, is the dedication to providing "full length" treatments of above average length. Too frequently appointments are rushed into 30 minute slots and patients are made to feel like they are on a conveyor belt (and being charged a small fortune for the experience!), this will NEVER be the case at Core Osteo... I like to chat too much!
Although Core Osteo is still in its relatively infancy, I have actually been an Osteopath for 15 years and have been working in the field of Sports Injuries and Injury management for 20 years - I know, I don't look old enough!!
My career to this point has provided me with vast levels of experience which I am only too happy to be able to apply to my treatments in clinic, enabling the best possible outcomes for you and the quickest of recoveries back to you being pain and/or injury free.
I am aware that this price rise is quite significant as a percentage of the original fee however my commitment to keeping prices low for the last 3 years has meant that I now find myself in a position where I am underselling my skill and experience level.
Please be aware that I will continue to work alongside insurance companies and that the systems we have in place will remain exactly the same. Unfortunately, as many of you who use these insurance providers know, some of the larger companies have a "fee cap" in place and as a result you, the patients, are responsible for making up the shortfall. Please make sure that if you do use insurance companies to cover your treatment costs that you are aware of how my changes may affect you BEFORE proceeding with treatment.
Thank you for taking the time to read the above. I am extremely grateful to have a client base of wonderful patients, many of who actively encouraged me to make this decision and others who have ensured me that it is absolutely the right thing to do! I have never pretended to enjoy the "business" side of running a clinic, it isn't where my expertise lie! That is very much in the treatment and management of your injuries and problems, something I love to do and very much look forward to be able to continue to help you with into the future.
